We're Coming Home!!!!!

Today when I went to the hospital, I found out that we are possibly coming home on Sunday!! That's right, two days from now. So the race to get the baby stuff out of storage is on. Gracie has been eating all her bottles and having no problems. There is a car seat class that we have to do and get Gracie fitted into her car seat to make sure she is not too small and that was supposed to be today, but the person who does it was out with a sick kid so that may be our only hold up on coming home.

Gracie will come home on a monitor and medicine but that gives me peace of mind. So if all goes well and we will all hope and pray, Todd and I will stay at the hospital tomorrow night and bring Gracie home on Sunday!!!!! As I know more, I will post and hopefully the next picture of Gracie will be at home!

Gracie's big bow

Here is Gracie's first big bow. I found this and just thought that I would try it. I thought it was pretty cute! The nurses kept joking that it was bigger than her head, but she will grow in to it. Gracie is almost 6 weeks old, over 4 pounds, and drinking from a bottle 3-4 times a day and doing really well with it. Dr. Sutter told me the other day that she thinks that Gracie would be home in about 2-3 weeks which is really exciting! So let's keep praying and hoping.

Trying to get her thumb

This is a picture of Gracie and her favorite night time nurse Molly. Even though I don't go at night all the time, I think that Todd and I have made her our favorite too. She is so good with Gracie. I know that someday, Gracie will want to know who was with her while we were sleeping and now she can see!
Even though Gracie is still in the hospital, I can not thank everyone enough for the prayers, meals, phone calls, visits, and cards that you have been doing. Todd and I really appreciate it and are really lucky to have so many people that care. I have to say a very special thank you to our parents especially for helping us with the girls. If it weren't for them, Todd and I would not be able to go at all to the hospital together to see Gracie. It doesn't matter what time it is or how late it might be, our parents have not said no.

Callie Cam Edition #2!

Last weekend while Todd was at home painting, we met Todd's parents and grandparents up at the hospital. Callie decided that she needed to take some pictures so here is what she ended up with. She is getting pretty good at it and loves to play with the camera.

Gracie's one month and more

Here are some pictures of Gracie at her one month mark.

Just resting on her daddy's arm
Sleep tight

Yawn big!

See Gracie already has her Daddy wrapped around her little finger (or nose)
***My absolute favorite picture of them together

Todd calls this hat her "pope" hat. The first time we put it on her it stuck up pretty far in the air and all we could do is laugh. It is one of the hats that fits her better and now it doesn't stick up so far.

Kadee's first haircut!

Kadee is now 20 months old and has had her first haircut. She did great. I gave her the box of animal crackers and she sat there very still. I was pretty impressed. She is very vocal lately about what she wants and lets you know if she doesn't get it. She also has been talking a lot lately. It is so funny when she calls Snorts so I like to tell her to call him anyway. Here are some pictures of her haircut!

Quick update

The last week has been crazy at our house. Gracie is doing great. Lately she has been putting weight on and now weighs 3 pounds 9 ounces! She also turned a month old this week. I will put pictures up later. Gracie has been holding her temperature so she is no longer under the warmer and can wear clothes now, so yesterday, me and the girls went looking for clothes. Does anyone know how hard it is to find preemie clothes???? Todd has been busy. He had a four day weekend so he painted the girls new play room, bathroom, and Gracie's room. He is so good and didn't complain one bit. We also had Kourtney's birthday party and Christmas with the Norris cousins so a full week and weekend.

I hope everyone had a great new year and make this one better than the last!!!
