Latest Dr appt

Today I went to the doctor for just a monthly check. He wanted to make sure that I was aware of everything going on. The baby's heart rate was 139 which is good and she is moving around like crazy now so I bet she just keeps going. He (the Dr) was a little concerned about a sonogram I had last week but just mainly to plan more before delivering. Right now, he said my placenta looks like it is trying to attach to the muscle of the uterus. He also said that it looks like it is trying to squeeze between the uterus and bladder, so that may cause some complications. Like I said before, he really is not concerned with the safety of the baby, but rather wants to make sure that he has everything and everyone during the delivery. He said something about delivering a little early depending on the situation but will want to do an amino before he does that. He said that if it is attached to the uterus or anywhere, he will need to have more blood and an urologist in the room with him in case there needs to be any repair done. The possibility of a hysterectomy will be in there if the need to arise. I am torn about that. I know that it will probably come in the future and we are done having kids, but it is just so final!

Anyway, enough rambling, he said sometimes all this turns out to be nothing and is the best case scenario, but at least he is taking the precautions now. Isn't technology great? I can't imagine life without it. I know that whatever happens will be okay and just want to make sure that mainly the baby is okay. Right now, I just put it in God's hands. Everything happens for a reason and the outcome will be fine no matter what.

Kadee's 1st day of School and Other things too

Today Kadee started going to Superkids. I don't have a picture yet, but will get one soon. Mema said she was so excited but had to have her bear (which is really grandma's) to sleep with. As far as I was told, she did great. She cried a little at nap time but that is normal for her. It doesn't seem like she is 18 months old today and already going to school. Our baby is getting big and it won't be long before we think she is really big.

Lately she has started talking more. We have moved her and Callie in the same room and thank goodness Callie is off our floor and sleeping in her bed. Kadee did really well the first couple of weeks, then lately not so good. She has been trying to come into our room and get in bed with us. I don't mind, but she wants to play instead of sleep, so any helpful hints would be great. I hope this is just a phase and that before we get too sleep deprived. I think that I will get enough of that when the new baby gets here (Todd might after I go back to school a little!)

Halloween

Here are some pictures of Halloween. I know I am a little late, but ok late rather than never right? Callie had a really good time. She got plenty of candy but not too much. Kadee was more interested in watching other people rather than going to get candy, but she did like it once she got into it. We started at Mema and Pa's house, then went to Ne'Na and Te'Ta's house for games and supper, and then onto the church building for more fun. Callie was Strawberry Shortcake and Kadee was a bumblebee or our little "Stinger." The costumes were really easy since they were both handed down
